Founder of Vanikurk, Milano van Niekerk was born an artist — a creator at heart with a vision that couldn’t be ignored. From a young age, Milano knew there was something deeper to express, something bold and lasting. That something became fashion.
Driven by the belief that true style isn’t found in following the crowd, but in shaping what’s next, Milano pursued a degree in Fashion Design at the prestigious North West School of Design. It was there that the dream sharpened — not just to make clothes, but to set standards, start conversations, and create trends that endure.
From the very first year of study, Milano began working hands-on with clients — translating vision into garments, and growing a loyal client base built on trust, creativity, and results. With every design, the mission was clear: offer high-quality, expressive fashion that doesn’t chase the trend — it becomes the trend.
Today, that vision lives in every thread of Vanikurk. What started as an artistic calling has grown into a movement — empowering individuals to own their style, stand apart, and wear their confidence.
